Thats because jazz isnt the genre they play in. What matters is that they can switch from death metal to a total opposite genre and sound decent.

Dude, I play death metal too, in a band called Necrocelia (the name is an in joke) and I can assure you reaching 240 bpm isnt as hard as a lot of jazz pieces.
Also Kollias and Roddy aren't great jazz drummers, they play too heavy handed and they have little or no feel because of it. |
