Elephants Dream is the story of two strange characters exploring a capricious and seemingly infinite machine. The elder, Proog, acts as a tour-guide and protector, happily showing off the sights and dangers of the machine to his initially curious but increasingly skeptical protege Emo. As their journey unfolds we discover signs that the machine is not all Proog thinks it is, and his guiding takes on a more desperate aspect.

Since short films like these are all about the audiencs opinions, I would say that Proog wants to show Emo his world and his mind. Emo doesnt understand Proog's thoughts and Proogs reasons, Proog sturggles to get Emo to understand his mind, Emo fails to see what Proog sees and when finally Emo shuns out Proog's ideas and decides to leave, Proog's world breaks down on him, he cannot convince Emo to believe in him so instead of letting his world crumble he kills Emo...

The animation and graphics are awesome but not much of a storyline but being a blender user like what other people arleady said this takes a lot of talent,skill and time to do. I wish someday I could make something like that. Anyways Keep up the good work.

just like one of my darker dreams!....theyve captured that non-linear way a dream unfolds...its just a dream, I dont think its supposed to have a coherant plot. very well rendered. I like it - in a disturbing kinda way.

There's is not really storyline in it, it just shows you what Blender can do. This movie is free and made in Open Source software. |
