Jackie got SERVED! in this interview LOL! Honestly Ayrton was the MAN! Honest & true to his self, I so admire people who can stand up for themselves and not take any crap off anyone lying down! I sat through all of this like 'GO AYRTON, YOU TELL HIM WHATS UP' LOL!

Senna's response in this case was fuelled by anger at the press' reaction to the collision at the first corner in Suzuka. Only a year later, he began to see JYS' points about driver safety and other issues of that type, and actually started asking him for advice on how to rally up the drivers for greater demands in this area.
Senna actually said to JYS after this interview that he never wanted to talk to him again. It was just an anger-fuelled response.

All the drivers in modern GP racing should watch this, they moan every time there over taken stewards dishing out penalties for every minor incident, look at Spar this year one of the best finishes to a race in years an they ruin it by handing out penalties. If it carries on F1 is fucked.

Mr.555. Don't agree completely because I think it doesn't apply to Senna. He achieved the balance between his right foot and head. Of course he made some mistakes by impulse, but during his career he mastered the act of drive to such a high level, racing on the limit, amazing skilled, but on his control. His dead as we all know has nothing to do with an irresponsible drive. His magic was about a skill level achieved by anyone instead of "crazy" driving that we use to like to watch. An exception |
