one thing he doesnt mention is that for the googly, you have to get your arm almost above your head, gives it more flight and dip. helped me get the wrong un right

everyone that reckons shane warne is a drug cheat is just plain dumb and for that person that thinks that stupid chucka murali is better has obviously never seen him bowl, i mean throw a leg spinner

Anyone have any tips for bowling a googly ? Whenever i change my wrist position to bowl one it always comes out as a leg spinner. Thanks.

I have always found it very difficult to bowl a googly. I turn my wrist around as far as i can but the ball still arrives as a leg break !! mayb'e it is me i dont know.

I actually consider Murali to be greater than Warne for myriad reasons, but i must admit that listening to Warne discuss bowling is fascinating, especially the part where he said that he focuses on what shot he wants the batsman to play when delivering. All my life I've been told by coaches to focus on the spot where you want to land the ball! Pretty interesting, and if it worked for him, it must be good.
