I've got a Technics SL1200 MK2 with a Shure M44-7 cartridge. I've been having a major problem with the cartridge skipping even when just moving the record back and forth slightly. I've read guides on how to calibrate the tonearm and stuff, and after watching this video check to see if anything was loose (which nothing was), but the supposedly unskippeble needle is jumping all over the place!
