..if you accept part - accept it all. Starts small but grows. Remember wear the star so we know who you are and can protect you, move to the ghetto so we can protect you, list all your worldly goods so we can give them back, get on the train, go left - go right. Vermont is bldg work camps...... VERMONT

The last was a duplicate-ish post, my connections's been kind of spotty and I thought the one before was lost.

I want to be able to go to the library, call family members out of the country, and go to the news websites I trust without such actions contributing to my terrorist rating score. It's kind of like your credit score. You can't check your own, and you can't find out what actions affect your score, and you can't challenge any misunderstandings. The things that increase your score include many that are perfectly innocent but common activities for at most of the people involved.

I also don't care that the HSD can just look at my library records or phone calls sent/received without my knowing about it. I don't like that there's a credit-score-esque terrrorist risk rating that I have, a rating based on vague criteria that I can't challenge, discuss, or even see, and that some day I might be denied a flight I paid for at the terminal because of such a rating.

One of my friends was denied financial aid after attending a peace rally. She was put on a terrorist watch list. Really now, peace activists as terrorists?
Because of things like that, I've been a little more discreet in my dissent than I should be able to be in a so-called free country. I shouldn't even have to WORRY about that kind of thing if this country were free.

Man I really don't see waht rights you've lost. Have you encountered any of these problems that you've mentioned, have you personally been affected. God help us if HITLERY GETS IN!

OK, youtube is eating my posts for some reason. As if this discussion weren't taking enough of my time, I have to retype everything I say. WTF!?
Well, I gave a list of websites, but this is now taking up way too much of the day and I need to get to work.
But just imagine how you'd feel if Hillary got into office with these powers still in effect. |
