What it comes down to if your not doing anyting illegal then what is their to really worry about except for terrorists. You have to remain quiet cause if you talk then the leads will get compromised. Use some common sense. All we need is to get rid of all Liberal scum! Be serious, the FBI did not just go around anywhere and ramsack your house. I am involved in homeland security and I NEVER heard of someone getting investigated for no reason due to the Patriot Act. Rot in Hell liberal Scum!

Kudos to Judge Andrew Nepalitano. I'm glad there are still Americans that still speak like this... If he faces persecution for speaking out this way he's welcome here in Australia.

Ignorant you are. Ever heard about freedom? Al Qaida doesn't like it, and the Patriot Act removes most of it.
Heard about freedom of speech? You'd be dead if you tried that in any middle-eastern country.
The Patriot Act makes you a target without even being a criminal.
It takes away your human rights and is closer to terrorist/communist way of thinking than most laws. Americans are being treated as possible terrorists, not citizens of the USA.

Judge Napolitano makes some good points, but he needs to do some checking. Courts have struck down certain provisions of the Patriot Act and Congress didn't reauthorize(including 2 sections of Title II) and some sections were modified including 213 and 212. He is right that this is a large bill that really needs to be carefully analysed and studied and reviewed.
As for Ron Paul, his blame-America-first & on everything stances will prevent him from being elected. Bad choice, judge.

The people who support Ron Paul are the only ones understanding how illegal every single aspect of our culture has become.
The federal reserve is treated with kid gloves by both major parties. the Patriot Act is treated with kid gloves. The Taxation Code and IRS. Etc
Only Ron Paul's supporters really get it.
