It's Fripp: "Pin-ups" (1973)was the last album Bowie did with Ronson in the band. "'Heroes'" is from 1977, during Bowie's 'Berlin Period'. Ronno was long-gone by then.

The reason they don't notice it, is the ebow he uses, and I may be wrong, but according to me, it wasn't Robert Fripp, but Mick Ronson, still, don't get me wrong, I'm not quite sure... Any way, both of them, great guitarrists...
That is the same reason the solo only has 3 notes...

If you don't like poetry, you don't like poetry. I didn't write it, Bowie did. Brilliant lyric, unlike most Rush songs. Besides, being free IS what's best, right?

Bowie's original had such an astoundingly beautiful guitar part (by Robert Fripp), that most prople don't even realize it's a guitar that they're hearing! One of the best guitar solos EVER, and it only has three notes in it!! |
