Rocketinmy pocket... funny how our music jones introduces us to new things and to different directions. I am a Brian Wilson fan(like Denny too) but these guys here were the Beach Boys of country rock. Take it you dig Little Feat too!

During my first 500 favorites, I consistently checked for postings from, "SHF's," two albums. My favorite was "Trouble In Paradise."
All I can find now is a song of JD Souther's, and that's probably due to the short lived but very gratifying, and entertaining life of this band.
BTW, if you like Dennis Wilson, if you or someone you know has, "Netflix," you can order the movie, "Two Lane Blacktop," with Wilson, and James Taylor. Pretty good flick.

Once again, well put.
I was 15 when I first started listening to this great "New," sound, unaware of all the individual talent, from which would eventually emerge, "Loggins and Messina," "The Souther Hillman Furay Band," as well as Timothy B. Schmidt, going to and still with The Eagles.
I have always wondered where they came up with a name like Poco, because loosely translated from spanish means, "Small."
I'm sure you'd agree there is nothing small about this band.

you get alot of "jokers" out there that think this music (POCO) really does not cut it in today's world. Well, "tit for tat" since these artist's were ahead of their time back in 1971/72. I guess we can't please the whole world with the music we like........have a good day my friend.
