Aw that's sad. I can safely say that was the worst Christmas I have ever known, even at my young age then (I was three at the time)

someone from my hometown who was studying abroad was on this flight. there's a little memorial to her in a park commemorating her and everyone who died

I remember this, I was a teenager at the time. I was desperately trying to get off with some Jewish girl called Miriam round my mate's house. I saw the BBC flash. It spoiled the mood to say the least. I never did get off with Miriam, two weeks later I began dating an Irish girl well in her twenties.

I remember it very well, most tv channels were blocked because of the pan am 103 crash, but will this sort of cowardless act be the last ?.

I think it was just fortuitous if such a terrible tragedy could be, that the plane didn't land on the city of Carlisle- it still makes me shudder to even contemplate the actual and potential awfulness of what happened

I remember the news flash I'll never forget all the news reports. I was 18 at the time and I remember thinking of the families especially how close it was to Christmas.
