One of the greatest speeches ever!

Does anyone know where to get this video but without the writing over it? I'd like to find a clean clip of the speech but I can't find one anywhere.

Do you realize how unconstitutional the Patriot Act is? Or how many times people get stopped in the airport for a "random" search just because they look Middle Eastern or have an Arab name? Bush has done nothing to make this world safer. He has only instigated more violence and made more enemies for the U.S. I wont get into your JFK post bc I find it full of distortions, and I'd much rather not bicker over this on here.
If anything, let's agree to disagree. Back to RFK's beautiful speech...

i said rk was okay. But, if Bush got killed by a terrorist, he would be considered martyr. People would say he died to make the world a safer place. while we can debate whether he has made it a safer place, in truth, he would be regarded as a hero.
And to the fact that you say Bush is racist is ignorance on your part. He has the most religiously and racially diverse administration of any president. and he's fighting for middle easterners freedom.(this doesn't mean that i like him too you know.)

he had a drug dealer takes drugs to his house. he was on DRUGS while LEADING our COUNTRY. SECRET SERVICEMEN TESTIFY TO THAT! He got us INVOLVED in VIETNEM. But he got SHOT! So therefore, he couldn't play out to become what he was bound to become. LBJ passed the same policies under new names.

What I think is sad, is that you think that Bush and RFK are the same except one got shot and one didn't. Bush is no where near the man RFK was. They couldn't be more opposite. RFK was for equality among all races and peaceful times, the other is perpetuating a new racism and spreading war all over the world. I agree with jandave1981, your post sounds completely ignorant.

*which has gone so far*

Yes, along with you, I hope too. I also hope people realize that the dream can only continue if each of us recognize it within each other and ourselves. It's up to us to take back our country who has gone so far from where these amazing leaders (Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and John F. Kennedy) envisioned us to be. Their dreams continue to inspire new generations and because of that, the dream lives on...I hope to see it fulfilled in my lifetime.

Anyone who is watching this today...please realize where the legacy has led. Please know that Ted Kennedy made the right choice in selecting Barack Obama as the heir to the dream. I hope Barack is worthy. I hope we are worthy. And I hope we elect President Obama on Nov 4th, 2008, not just for those who came before us, but also for those who come after us. |
