Oh,noo it was called hip-hop much before krs appeared.(originally)it become called hip hop in the late 70`s by grandmaster flash and the Furious-5.They named it after hearing about one of their friend`s joining the army,and he made a joke about it or something saying when they walked it went (hip/hop/hip/hop).DJ kool is the one to have originated hip-hop in the Bronx,by using 2 copies of 2 different types of records and forming them into one which made was smart and enjoyably danceable... |
