That's the great Wayne Bennett on guitar. If you listen closely, you can hear a few very minor mistakes - dead notes etc - that only add to the song. This was played live in the studio - no over dubs and corrections like today.
This is the version that set the template that a million bands have tried to copy. More so than T-bone Walker's original. Check out the Allman's brother's live version at the Filmore East if you like this !

True dat--I was grown and on my own before I ever heard of B. B. King or Stevie Ray Vaughn. Bobby 'Blue' Bland and Albert King ruled the blues in my daddy's house!

silky smooth voice, no one can deliver, I remember sneakin in Gleasons on 55th in cleveland, ohio to hear Bobby sing, one of my favorite all time bluesman, love u to death!!!

Moneymasterjet, they do play it on the radio. Check your local radio stations that play jazz and blues. We have a station in California that plays blues all day Saturday and Sunday. I heard this same song last week.

agree w/ u completely...this is the music I grew up on...honestly Bobby "Blue" Bland was one of the main blues musician who received play in my house along w/ other down home blues musicians. |
