if you put it in reverse does it turn in to a super intense gravity machine???

If it was a dimmer switch it would probably have died. Most likely a fan controller.

LOL trains use electricity to create electric field to move but are suspended on permanent magnet. How this works is when the cylinder spin fast it has an inductive effect which generate currents around the copper rod. An opposite electrical field are generated by the current which suspends the magnet. This cylinder doens't have to be copper, it will work if it's aluminum but may not work if it's iron since the magnet will attract to it.

So if I were to slam my head in there, would it get, say, to my waist?
dartvader117 (October 6, 2008 at 1:52 pm)
yea. and they REALLY fast. many transportation modes have absolutely nothing on it. especialy typical trains

i highly doubt it would suck your arm in
it would prob. just skin your finger or rip it off if you were to just like slam your finger in there

for something that could tear off your entire arm you aren't being the most cautious with your fingers lol

lol should make trains and rides that use this concept

read your dimmer switch it says not for inductive loads... ie no motors haha.
cool project though |
