I totally understand what you are saying. Personally I think of it as a Christian song, because it talks about "you're the light into my soul, you're my purpose". Anyways...that's just my perception.
Yes, this song can be about a lover also. It's easy to see that.
Just depends on your ideas. =D
I'm glad some people actually listen to lyrics and come up with their own ideas than just blowing it off and not paying attention. =]

As Christians we do love God. So if its a song about someone you love, then it can definitely be about God. I know i love God, and i want to give everything i have to Him. I am so touched by God's love for us, it is indescribable - A song by Chris Tomlin. awesome. :) |
