(1of4)I love it when Hollywood makes a real feel good movie like this We Are Marshall. I've watched it 5 times and each time I tear up and can feel the pain, sadness, glory and all the range of emotions the people who were involved in the movie were asked to portray. I think they all did a fantastic job, I like Matthew McConaughey as a person, he comes across as being sincere.

2of4)I think he's a good actor too, he really gets into the character. I don't know how closely he portrayed the real Jack Lengyle, I can't find anything about him except at the end of the movie it said he resigned in 1974. He went to the Naval Academy and took charge of their athletic program, was later put into the Hall of Fame and is retired.

(3of4) It would be quite a job to come in and try to step into the shoes of the former Marshall football coach. The whole situation was so tragic, a whole town affected by the loss of 75 people. It would be so hard to continue on after something like that much less try to rebuild a football team but they did it.

4of4)As I said, I've seen this movie 5 times, I see and hear something different each time I see it. It's so good in this time of terrorists running around, high gasoline and food prices and the world in trouble to have a good movie like this. I wish Hollywood would make more of them, fantastic job,

First off, if you didn't like what we were saying, or couldn't even understand it, why did you keep reading it? Well, thanks, that's probably the first time someones ever corrected themselves or me about in a civilized way...kinda makes me look bad lol. Sounds like I did misunderstand what you were saying and sorry for my more then necessary response. I wish some of the other people I talked to responded as well as you did. |
