Civilized brain? Dun wanna disappoint you but the civilization as we know now is a merely 60 years old. Before WWII: child labour, progroms, incest, rape (conjugal or not), domestic violence were as common as farts at the onion-eaters ball. Toiletpaper however, just as toothpaste, daily hygiene, eloquence and lice free heads as rare as eskimo doo-doo in the Ghobi desert. It's in the 20th century that our leaders decided to educate us. And they probably forgot you.
