thats from the 1997 revenant release linar notes, there are also 2 cds worth of recording dock made in the 1960s for smithsonian/folkways records that were realesed in 1998

Hey man, this is real music! Do you know where i can hear more music from dock boggs? cause recording isn't very good (like robert johnson... awesome music, but really bad recording)

Ya, perhaps, they were both countrysingers, but Robert Johnson was more of a bluesman. But Doc Boggs here is very true stuff to american folk music !
I'm very glad of comments, but I'm so greatful, when I get comments from young people.
You see I'm here on youtube to try to keep the old blues alive.
