Why would a genius such as Curtis LeMay engage in a discussion with a spineless nebbish like Robert McNamara?

I would like to interject something. I just watched a thing about the nukes and Nagasaki was a catholic community on the edge of nowhere. And the US knew it. It was a Sunday. Late morning.

There are basically no rules to war. This was McNamara's point. Go back and look at the film again fool. How we got into WW2 is based on your speculation and conjecture. Regardless how Peal Harbor occured Japan wanted to take out our aircraft carriers to control the south pacific.
My original response was directed toward (infamousraiderh). If you want to change the world complain about the rules of war to the rest of the countries.

Not to mention, just like the last poster you responded to you entirely missed my premise and went along typing as if you can't even read.
Seriously, is it even possible for you to debate intelligently or are you completely socially retarded?
You don't win by default just because people find you absolutely useless to argue with. Seriously, read + respond to what you read, simple as that.

Pro American tripe, parroted from the mouth of someone who does not study the subject.
If you don't know your country orchestrated two false flags to get into the war and that they had politicians and business men funding the Germans during the war, then seriously, go study.
I won't even waste my time arguing, as your ignorance is so thick getting you to even slightly rethink what you think you know would be improbable at best.

First of all we did not start WW2 we ended it. The premise of the president's order was to save an est. 100,000 U.S. soldiers lives from invading Japan and to end the war ASAP. Secondly, Japan or Germany certainly would have used it on us if they had it. Also, it was Germany that invented dropping bombs on cities like London. You should be thank full that the U.S. won WW2.
Theobrothers (August 17, 2008 at 2:42 am)
Bombing over 100 Japanese and German cities Killing vast majorities of civilian constitutes defense? Compare the two attacks on the US prior to the declaration of War and compares those to these bombings and try to still connect defense. Not to mention both the attacks on the US were allowed by government officials or engineered outrightly.
Logical cognition issues?
Theobrothers (August 17, 2008 at 2:38 am)
That wasn't in any way related to his premise...
Reading comprehension issues?

Is self defense evil?

History is decided by the superpowers and victors of war. |
