To go plus in poker or to be a pro you need to be really good, you cant be avarage and make money on it. I say its 50 luck and 50 skill. If you go pro there is a bigger chance that you will go minus then plus, basicly there is only a small % of the players that can make money on poker and thats the guys you see on TV.

Getting hand is luck, but evading "must call" situations demands some luck as well, e.g. you have KK in SB and BB happen to have AA. BB hand range for push is usually quite wide against SB raise, so basically one can't fold KK in that situations.
Basically I wouldn't bluff much against real amateurs... Problem is that many of them tends to overplay their hands.

okay explain this then: how come pros regulary get to the final tables at for example the WSOP...luck can't explain that: getting a hand is luck, what you do with it is skill, and pros can bluff any amateur off any marginal hand...even if they were beat |
