Sure, you and Zero have a right to an opinion. But everyone else has a right to attack his disrespect, too.
As for Nicholas Cage, I thought he did a great job. If you can't see past the celebrity, then perhaps you need to reconsider the way in which you absorb media. It's not his fault people can't see through the celebrity.
I would also add that this movie owes an incredible amount of its excellence to the music. That really empowers the whole thing.

well truth is, everything did go to fast... 9/11 was more or less of an unexpected tragedy. I think both movies depict the horrors of 9/11... well.
