well he means that having Jesus on your chain does not mean that you believe in him or follow his word. alot of people have i know a guy who has a cross tattooed on his arm and when he shoots at people he uses that same hand.idk

i like this song and i am a Christian, but what i dont understand is kanye in general
he says stuff in other songs like "i got Jesus on the chain and that dont mean shit" and "i had a dream i could buy my way to heaven" just doesnt make much since too me
