it might been the salt that maide it salty anyways because when fresh water flows into oceans it does not mix right away but stays on top. so it might be still the salt but i doubt it.

Had it not been a salt mine (where water couldn't dissolve the mine), it wouldn't have been this spectacular. The part about the 400foot gyser of water that shot out of the mine shaft...it's just too funny in a really messed up way...thinking about all the dead fish:(
