The wonderful thing about music is that an artist can shift and change the structure and make it into something new or slightly different. Improv and talent go a long ditance in keeping things interesting.

Great song! Piano's too loud in this clip though, it over-powers the lyrics and acoustic guitar.

oh, someone told me he went to Berklee... ignore my previous comment then

Jordan went to Julliard.

Disclaimer: obviously melody beats pointless speed anyday. Now that that's out of the way, does nobody else agree that there can be feeling in the overall precision and idea in a fast passage, or more than one?
UGSonicxlover (October 1, 2008 at 12:42 am)
I think it's good, I don't mind the technicality. Though it's probably because out of the two, I guess I prefer Dream Theater.
whocaresofusername (September 30, 2008 at 8:31 pm)
yeah that's the big problem qith dream theater....too many notes to say too less...
topkho (September 30, 2008 at 3:45 am)
Waaaay too many unnecessary notes. It is about the music, not the quantity of notes or a flurry of technicity. Just cold and not very musical.
jazzdog2 (September 29, 2008 at 11:38 pm)
yeah that's the only thing that Rudess can't do... which is weird cuz he used to play jazz and went to Berklee
somberlight (September 29, 2008 at 7:36 pm)
hmm.. fair enough.
