No, he hated kids. He said he much preferred cats, hence the reson his waistcoat in the 'days of our lives' video has lots of cats on.

In this performance's description, Bowie doessn't have credit, but, usually not in live performances, Bowie has credit. In Bowie's performance's, Freddie doesn't have any credit.

If you watch Bowie singing this song, you will notice that, instead of "Queen", it says "David Bowie". It only says who is singing the song.
