He doesn't care about the crowd (well, while he's singing). He just cares about the music he wrote. He does what he wants. Who gives a crap, he's filthy rich and he gets what he wants. Why not sing how he wants?

But his studio-recorded vocals just don't have that pitch-corrected sound to them. I've also noticed that his singing is usually a lot more on key during acoustic or quieter gigs. I've come to a believe that his live off keyness is probably attributed to a few things:
1. Playing with a full, extremely loud band.
2. Maybe he gets anxious during huge shows?
3. He's releasing raw emotion and doesn't give a shit.
4. He's whacked out on acid.
The 4th isn't probable, but maybe worth considering.
