miighankurt,
Your point is well taken. However, to use your analogy, while I might have a lot in common with a French person in China, as an American, I wouldn't have much in common with them in France, or Europe for that matter.
I feel you are over simplifying the idea of "culture" and are arguing a different scale of relatedness than most would.
But it is a good discussion.
And Huun Huur Tu rocks.

Mongol comes from Temuchin's tribe's name Mon Kau, a Turkic people. If you meet a French person in lets say China and the French guy greets us and says hello fellow European, then you say to him No I'm English, isn't that awkward? OK enough of retardedness lets enjoy the music.

jasonsagert it shows we are same thing, mongol, tuvan, even, evenk, uzbek, kazak, all turkic.. if you are from that region you know that, but if you are an outsider then you say mongolia is different people, tuva different people, evenk different people etc. That's what I was telling the dude trying to split us up.

miighankurt,
What was that video trying to show? That there is a blend and continuum of cultures? A similar adaption to environments?
The video does not refute the repression of the Tuvan culture under the Soviet regime. Or the Tuvan's connection to the Mongolian traditions
