What a great video! I adore this breed. We have two yellow males that are truly adored. Normally I would not bother commenting on idiotic posts from ignorant people but this time I have to add my two cents to jstone8178 - if you knew anything about this breed you know that none of these dogs are fat - the breed is very barrel chested which is why you may think (if you do think) that any of these dogs are overweight.

So is it a matter of training or it depends on the dogs mood?Thank's!

They are exuberant in the moment, and almost entirely ego-free. The perfect friend!

My very friendly yellow lab will give one hell of a deep bark when something seems awry, and if he gets it in his mind that he is guarding, look out. But I wouldn't recommend them for guarding...99% of the time he wants to make friends.

Thank's!I'll also ask the breeder of course but nice to know from an owner

our yellow lab is a great watch dog, and it is extremely friendly. My grandma came to our house today to get some stuff when we weren't home but Nika (our dog) would not let her in at all. Mainly because she is unfamiliar to my grandma, even when she had a sandwich to bribe her...

These dogs are amazing,I'm thinking of getting one around Christmas. Are they watchdogs or guard dogs at all?I mean will they protect their family or they just do not have it in them?

I have a black lab mix. She is AMAZING. Since she is tall, and skinney she is great at running, swimming and PLAYING.
