if we legalize marijuana, gangs and drug dealers would have a dramatic downfall...

15 years? Damn thats fucked up. Yeah the 3 strike system does suck but with some people it's helpfull.

When you are right, you are right. And you are right about everything you said. Tommy said they threatened both his son AND his wife, and that he took this hit to save them.
If anyone wants to know what happened to their constitutional rights, most of them have been eroded down to nothing by the DEA. The Patriot Act merely gave them the coup de grace.

chrisky; Not sure if Im right but I think that Tommy knew at that time that they were also after his son. Sounds like he sorta took one for his son there in that respect. As for warrants; The DEA doesnt really care about warrants, never have. Even though they said he wasnt "under arrest", LEO's always qualify that with; "we're just temporarily detaining you". They dont operate under any real law. The entire war on some drugs is, by definition, illegal and antithetical to civil rights.

When they said he wasn't under arrest, why didn't he kick them out?

My next door neighbour got more or less forced by Kings Cross Police to sell Drugs for them. They came into his house 3 times a week to take all his cash! He just did it because he was a speed/cocaine freak. Still got himself 15yrs prison! That 3 strike system you have over there sucks big time!!

the war on drugs is a fucking joke and the manipulative government we have is not what our for fathers would have expected. The age of technology is here and now the people are linked together. Its just a matter of time before the tables are turned on these dumbass people we have in office which should be flipping burgers at mcdonalds

A friend got caught with 1kg of Black Hash. He got locked up on the spot for 5yrs. Got 5 because they said its a imported substance. So if he had 1kg of buds he would of just got fined LOL but I knew some other guy who got done with kgs all the time. Nothing happened to him! He was a give up dog Police Informer! I hear he is forced to work for cops now or has to go to prison forever. Either way that guy is stuffed. The general public that knows him wants him dead LOL
