PlusAP Campaign MinuteAP Campaign MinuteThe Associated PressHere's the latest from the campaign trial for Tuesday, June 24th: Bill Clinton speaks on Obama; McCain discusses energy in Calif.; AFL-CIO voting on Obama endorsement; Clinton returns to the hill. This is AP Campaign Minute -- A spokesman for former President Bill Clinton says he is committed to helping Barack Obama become president. The comments are the first from Clinton since his wife's primary campaign ended three weeks ago. It's not clear what role Obama might have for Clinton. Clinton was an outspoken critic of the Illinois senator during the primary. Obama's Republican rival, John McCain, was in Santa Barbara, California Tuesday -- meeting with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for a meeting on energy and the environment. McCain pledged as president to switch official federal vehicles to green technologies and do the same for federal office buildings. He's also calling for a redesign of the national power grid so power is better distributed where it's needed. The AFL-CIO may be close to giving its endorsement to Obama. The leaders of the nation's largest labor organization started voting Tuesday on whether to endorse the Illinois senator. The election, which is being done by fax, is scheduled to end on Thursday. Senator Hillary Clinton returned to Capitol Hill today, for the first time since ending her presidential campaign. Clinton shook hands with a crowd outside, before entering the Capitol. ___ ___, The Associated Press, with AP Campaign MInute.

A bit off topic, BUT... CIRCULATE! impeachforpeace. org/ImpeachNow.html The "Do-It-Yourself Impeachment" IS a legitimate procedure. I called several representatives offices and asked. Please visit my profile for more information. "In previous waves, over 500,000 downloads of the document represented over 1.7 million mailings". Given Bush's DIS-approval rating and the well over 225 million citizens old enough to vote... WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT! Copy and paste this everywhere.
