The credit system concept is ingrained in people's mind: why use paper money when a certified credit is all we need. A unified world credit is established. Jesus took Peter,James,and John with Him when to a high mountain.These men spoke w/Moses,Elijah, and Jesus on that mountain.They saw the kingdom of God that day. Interpertation,no.The verse is explained in the verses that follow, just read it.

Read a little further in Mark 9... the transfiguration is what Jesus was referring to. Also, I don't think it would be unfair to say He was prophesying of His ressurection and even the day of Pentacost. All three are legitimate events His statement prophesied of. The Kingdom of God coming in power doesn't ONLY mean the end of the world or Jesus' second coming.

BIBLICAL PROPHECY? Christians claim Jesus' life fulfilled ancient prophecy. Lets take a look at one of those shall we? Mark 9:1 states 'Some of you will not be dead before you see the Kingdom of God coming on a cloud.' Now this is Jesus talking to his disciples. It sure does sound like Jesus thought the end was coming in their lifetimes doesnt it?
