I was not talking about the Western Front. If you thought I was, I apologize.

lol, i hate to correct you, but this is the Eastern Front, but your ideas are intense.

...2 tyrants, one war. In contrast to the Western Front, there was no good guy. There were only two villians....The ways of war.
Why must Human kill fellow Human? It is bred into us. Millenia of scarce resources have scared us. Our ancient, viscious, ways of the animal still remain embedded deep in us.....Waiting......waiting....to come out.

Yes, it would have been nice if we had gone to war with Stalin too. That way, democracy would have been the unquestioned liberator. Unfortunatly, that wasn't the way it was.
War is humanity. Humanity means war.

Ive always said that the world has gone too long without a major war and is due, but god I hope nothing like this happens. A lot of people died in this war and a lot of peoples lives wrecked.

yeah Stalin, if Hitler had not risen to power in Germany and it had remained a weakened state, the allies would have turned their attention to the Soviet Union. Stalin viewed the west as weak and was keen to grab territory in Poland etc. If he had done this he and the allies would have gone to war.

Stalin?
Dakmor418 (October 2, 2008 at 1:26 pm)
The allies are as much to blame with their harsh treatment of Germany after WW1. If Germany had been treated fairly Hitler would not of came to power. Also i hardly think Stalin would have just sat doing nothing if WW2 hadnt happened. War was inevitable. |
