Thank You Pablo for your thoughtfulness. Your Grandparents should be proud. I needed to watch this today to be reminded. Thank you to dxarmy94 for sharing your Grandpa's experience when he liberated dachau. So sickening. Poor innocents. I met a lady once whom I admired her ring. She told me that she had gotten it out of one of the german concentration camps in a bar of soap when she was a little girl.

my grandpa was in one of the first american groups to liberate dachau and he was able to free some of the prisoners by opening up some places and he said as he was doing that the people being held inside would come out with no clothes and find anything they could to get out of there like a bike car or just run im glad i didnt have to see what my grandpa saw that day

You can't blame the American soldiers who shot some of the SS on sight for them the site of all those dead bodies were to much and made them want to take justice into there own hands.

been to see it. Horrible feeling in there. Especially the ovens!
Disgusting, how any human being could do that to another defies belief!

"This is so stupid. Why can't people just let the past be the past. It was a long time ago."
Those that forget the past are bound to repeat it in the future, you dumb Princess.

Who cares if SHITler was Austrian. He did what he did as the Chancellor and leader of Germany and the vast majority of Germans supported him deep into the war. Germany deserves the blame for what happened because German soldiers and SS committed those crimes. That doesn't mean that today's Germans are guilty of these atrocities. You are NOT. However, you all are collectively responsible to never let it happen again and fight fascism when and wherever it rears its ugly head on German soil. |
