Mr: phonetics comes from the word Phonecian. There is no coicidence with this. Modern alphabet is based on Phonecian Cunni form. Thats why its called Phonetics. Alot of European words get their origin here & from Egypt by way of Greece & Rome who gained much of its ideas from studying these Nations Sciences.

Mr: why do people like you think something is not true just because you never heard of it before. these arer not wild guesses. This is well researched information. Religion & etymology go hand in hand. Most words in any language have Esoteric conotations that have been simplified has years past. You only know the simplified meanings. Stop debating us on here & just open your mind & do some more research.Trust me you will see how true we are.
TheSonsOfLight (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Mr: your problem is that you believe everythinmg you read on face value without doing further investigation & research.Dictionaries are very vague & basic. in order to fully understand the meaning of a word you must study the history of the word & the people(s) who used it. Then you will see that all I have wrote is accurate. I read this stuff in many Etymology encycl.Read many books on word connection. Your info is so basic man. Stop fighting what you cant see.

Mr: Of course you would believe Jesus is an Aramaic word translated into greek. that shows how much you know about The Bible & how it was written. First The greek New testament wasnt translated from Aramaic in whole. Much of it was written in Greek & Latin. Also there is no "J" in Aramaic my friend. The Hebrews called "Jesus" Emmanu-El or Yashua'.Not Jesus. Also The word Phonetics does come from the Word Phonecian. CUni form is a Phonecian art.Modern alphabets are based on Phonecian cuni form
TheSonsOfLight (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Mr: yes Jesus is Greek. There is no "J" in Hebrew or Aramaic (which is the same damn language minus punctuation marks)along with Arabic & Urdu. Jesus is an anagram for the Greek Zeus. Also the latin Hay-zeus.Thats why spanish pronounces Jesus as HayZeus. Most Hebrews call Jesus yashua'.Also in the Bible his name was Emanu-El. Not Jesus. thats a Greek creation. Latin indeed did derrive from Greek. I've had this debate before. I have much evidence on this.Remember Rome learned from Greece.
TheSonsOfLight (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Mr: You said El means definite article & nothing more? what a small minded view of language. El means definite article because its history goes back to Canaan as the Definite,Absolute,Omnipotent God. This out dates french & latin. Learn some history dude.
TheSonsOfLight (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Mr: Im not skeptical I am very well educated in etymology. Obviously by my comments. You dont have any understanding of it obviously by your comments. & these are not my claims. They are well documented & studied."L" "EL" means God. WHy do people argue things they have no knowledge of? You are out of ya league pal.
TheSonsOfLight (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Mr:you are very unlearned & because you dont undersytand the mystery of the spoken word you want me & others to live in your ignorance. "Levare". (L) remember in language vowels really dont even exist.Especially Hebrew & many ancient languages. (e)L. How do you pronounce the letter "L". You pronounce it EL.Use ya brain here. It is the same word.
TheSonsOfLight (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Mr: No I am 100% correct. You just have a limited understanding. Most language goes back to esoteric meanings. Also Zeitgeist is only o brief over view. I've been studying that info fo over 20 yrs. I was just glad someone else told the story. I know just as much as the guys who made it if not more. Also There is not enough room to really break this doen to you so I will try my best to let you see the truth. Its obvious you have zero knowledge if word history.
MrMergi (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Jesus is not from Greek, it's from an Aramaic word that was transliterated into Greek (big difference). Phonetics bears no relation to Phoenecian (it's from the Greek word for speak/voice). And Latin is not FROM Greek! It's related to it (same as it's related to German, Welsh etc.), but it's not FROM it. Some people sopend their whole lives studying historical linguistics and you, after watchin Zeitgeist, think that you know better than them? Ridiculous. Get a dictionary. Learn Latin and Greek.
