Hey, same here! I'm 16 and everyone at my school thinks I'm emo and that all I listen to is death metal. They couldn't be more wrong. And every time I'm talking to some girl and I tell her I like metal, they always kinda go like "oh, you're one of them..." and walk away! These metalcore bands are worse than just shit music! Black and Doom metal are my favorites, just because I am under the dubious illusion that any of you care.

It's amazing that some people still have a spine. Emo music is for little bitches that don't have problems but make the world think that they do. Metal is and will always be alive!!!!

Nile are brilliant. "Most people who like 'metal' don't have a clue it's just kids who think it's hard or cool to listen to it and don't really like it." So very right. So many people think if it has a blast beat its metal. thats when shit like Job for A Cowboy gets labelled metal. Pisses me off. However. Most people think im like that too due to my age (16) but no. I know my metal.
