what was strange about this war was the fact that the soldiers didn't actually hate eachother, when the war first began the German and French troops would often have lunch togethor, they would walk freely and mingle with eachother, on christmas the German and British troops sang silent knight togethor

If you are referring to the Lusitania, that ship was off the coast of Ireland.

if not for the TREATY OF VERSAILLES this will only be known as the "GREAT WAR" not "world war I" -.-, the blame shouldve been divided upon the central powers

You'd like to have the experience and hopefully survive intact. There isn't anything glorious about getting killed or wounded...and it always happens to those who have their whole life ahead of them.
There's an old saying "Old men start wars and young men fight them".
Be careful what you wish for.
Have a peaceful life...
And be grateful for it.

The German Empire had published ads in the New York Times saying they would sink any ship at all that crossed into their waters, including passenger liners. Like, it was a straight-up warning.
I find it interesting that happened, and then the US knew about Pearl Harbour, allegedly, and then there's the rumours about 9/11. |
