Read the constitution. There is no authority for the US gov't to interfere with other countries.
Many of the actions they have taken overseas have been in violation of their own law.

In domestic matters, the president is bound by the constitution, congress, court and etc.
In foreign policy, especially in dealing with the Islamic world and Israel, there is nothing to prevent the US government to act with impunity.
If you just take a look, take a long second look, at the fate of the Palestinians, you'll find out.

As a latinamerican I tell you: the intentions of american citizens might be good, but the aplication of the U.S foreign policies on our countries is a humiliating experience, because americans can be extremely arrogant; that is why americans and their goverment are so hated; they think they have the solution, but with their ignorance, they complicate things..
