Hello boys and girls..say hello to Tim Bogert...one of the most criminally underrated bass players in rock history. Please stick Pete Wentz up your ass.

They did a gig as Cactus WITHOUT Jim McCarty? I wouldn't waste my time. That would be like seeing Led Zep without Jimmy Page and having some unknown shmoe play guitar. Have to disagree about the new album. A LOT of tunes jump out and rock. Some great riffs on that new album. I play it on a regular basis. Sounds great along side the old stuff because it SOUNDS like the old stuff.

The Cactus V CD is well produced and features real fine playing. The problem is; Not one song jumps out & grabs you like the material on the first 3 albums. You'll play the CD once & put it away. We all wore the grooves off the old stuff, right? I think McCarty has once again left the band. They were at a toilet in New Jersey last month with Werner Fritchings (OT 'N Sweaty)back on guitar. I think it's time to put it to rest!

I'm reminded of Mad Season which must've been influenced by these guys! It's so hard to find anything like Mad Season since they only ever 1 made album :*)
