but you can't forget about Vanguard either. I'll admit they didn't do so well this year, but '07 Eureka was amazing.

the key words in drum and bugle corps are drum and bugle. It's just brass, percussion, and pit. Besides, if there were woodwinds it wouldn't be as badass. It's about a 12-14 hour rehearsal day for a month or so depending on the corps, then a combined time of maybe two more weeks on tour to clean drill and music. there's camps that are 3 days long form November to May, then alldays (12hour rehearsal). It's fun, but it takes a lot of work and dedication.

there are no woodwinds because its "drum and bugle" corps not a regular marching band. And brass is just better than woodwinds.

why aint there any saxaphones or other woodwind instruments? are these guys the best in the world cause they must practice like 13 or 14 hours aday to get that good for atleast 6 or 7 months
