Few people can play an instrument and say something different with it than thousands of others before them but Phil Collins is one of the few.There are some others with his technique, hell,even better technique, but his sound is unique and that's not only half the battle that's half the genious in creating that sound.A true artist.

I don't know anything about technique for drumming or anything like that. But I do know that I enjoy watching him drum. He has this sense of being able to "feel" the drums, as if he is just making it up as he goes. Does that make sense? He is having so much fun, and looks so comfortable doing it. I am waiting to show my son who is taking drum lessons this video, for inspiration and ideas. I just think he rocks.I never cared much about drums until just recently, and I like what I hear and see.

Phil is a great drummer.and singer.Technical is nothin.If you cant understand the language ,whats the point!!He brings drummin to the non drummers out there.Its called communication.!! |
