In response to chemiecta: That's a bit of an oversimplification. Is jazz a music form shaped largely by African Americans? Yes. Were all the instruments you see in this video -- and much of the music structure on which jazz is based -- invented by Europeans? Yes. Have there been many white musicians who contributed to the development of jazz? Yes. It's music. American music. The product of many cultures. Why not leave it at that?
