sure there was, there are another good bands that I can recommend, try searching in youtube for: Traffic Sound (well known outside Peru), Tarkus, We All Together, Laghonia, Pax (A storyless junkie, is one of my favorite), los texao (stone) and much more, I posted a tv special about rock in Peru under my video list
