The wonderful thing about Erlkonig is how it can be adapted to different registers. This though is one of the best.

it doesn't get any better, does it?
I love it when she sings "so brauch' ich Gewalt!" how haunted and demonic Abbado looks at her. They are all truly possessed by this wonderful piece.
And now I'm going straight away to Anne Sofie von Otters website to buy the CD recording of this.
