i simply do not agree that if a phenomenon affects an instrument, that phenomenon affects all objects including your own body. Any instrument can be easily influenced to measure something wrong.

A photon is the building block of light. Thus, the photons in the light clock move at the speed of light (C). Moving the light clock near the speed of light will bend space-time to keep the photons moving at C via time dilation. To the observer: -the photons are moving at C and traveling a longer distance than at rest. To the traveler: -the photons are moving at C and traveling THE SAME DISTANCE as at rest, since the bending of space-time will dilate time.
