Agreed, only other issues is the slightly upped price in comparison to other netbooks and the glossy display (which is a disaster for a mobile device but, hey noone's perfect).
Hopefully this little fellow will come with atom or nano cpu's within a couple of months. That'd make it THE notebook replacement to get.

If only this was a 1.6ghz cpu across the range. Here in the UK we get a slower via chip, the 1.2GHz and its slow as hell with suse or xp. If you are in the UK stay clear of this model. It's a shame as it is the best constructed one we have tested yet at work.

It bothers my that hes says that the hinge system is an hp innovation, when apple used that same system on the ibook g3 im watching this on. via 2001!

for a little more than $749+tax i can get a real notebook 13-14 inch with a better cpu and graphics card. this HP isn't worth it i don't care how "sexy" or "well-built" it is.

Any word on reviewing the one with SuSE Linux on it? I have yet to see one with Linux - only TigerDirect did one and didn't really focus on what OpenSuSE has to offer. I use it as one of my virtual machines but i think it would be good for those who are curious about Linux. |
