top notch ending! King always develops his characters very well, leaving the main point of the story (the mist in this case) as a background thing, so the movie doesn't look too stupid or unrealistic, so I think the movie is pretty good and the ending is perfect!

i love this movie so much because it really puts in prospective life in generall and it shows how messed up it is. you don't always get happy endings and this movie shows this well. sucks how that one woman actually got her children out of arms way and he couldn't.

DUMB! Should have ended it the way Stephen King did or have the dad wonder into an unknowing future at least but this isn't nice that's just rubbing salt in the wound

but this is not the way stephen king wrote the ending in his short story "the mist", but he told the director that he "wish taht he wrote it that way, and why he didn't think of it"

this is the most realistic unrealistic film iv seen if ppl get wat i mean lol ... the mosters nd stuff wer un realistic but the way ppl dealt with it and the way it ended was realistic and stephen king did a great job ... thank god that crazy lady died
