Scientist see science as tentative (as you said it, which makes loversbackseat incorrect). However, all present day evidence support the theory evolution via the principle of 'Survival of the Fittest'. The problems starts where ID people tries to equate a scientific theory with a dogma. Where one is actively researched, critiqued, peer reviewed; the other is read and assumed, with no critique, to be true, only backed by the circular argument: "God exists because the word of God says so."

ow you have a problem. There is really no such thing as "definitive proof" in science...otherwise, it is NO LONGER SCIENCE. Everything in science (including evolution) must be open to the possibility that all previous evidence is wrong (no matter how unlikely). If you consider evolution science, then you must accept the fact that there IS NO DEFINITIVE PROOF. Which is it? Is evolution science?

uhmm yes.
havent you heard of charles darwin? people such as darwin have been researching and prooving that evolution is fact since the 1700's so your a little behind time. why dont you google "survival of the fittest" and then maybe rethink your beliefs. i mean i really dont care that people do belive in god, (almost) everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when people get up all in my zone about what beleive or dont believe in, thats when i start getting irritated.

"nothing in the bible can be supported by FACTS, meaning that there is no scientific evidence prooving that anything that happened in the bible is accurate."
Can you SCIENTIFICALLY PROVE that EVOLUTION happened? Think before you speak.

Very interesting... Thank you for sharing...

how do you KNOW that what the bible says is the truth? nothing in the bible can be supported by FACTS, meaning that there is no scientific evidence prooving that anything that happened in the bible is accurate.
and my "sin" of not being christian doesnt seperate me from god, because i dont believe he exists, that doesnt mean i am a bad person for that either.

Well, though I haven't seen many domestic policy discussions in those countries, their participation in the EU parliament have been 100% (of what I've seen) secularly based. |
