um i'm confused ... why does perlman hand yo-yo ma his violin and take is bow and just walk off ... like he was the best one ever on that stage ....... YO-YO MA is a better musician, interpreter of music, and string player than he.

Perlman had Polio as a child and now his legs are half as strong as they were. Thats why he has stilts.
