Ha... nice description. Well, that green gunk is actually the sprouts and fiber.
Sprouts...like the yummy Broccoli Sprouts...are not juiced, and are fibrous.
So, just because the "scum" is green, don't be scared. I find it funny that people will think nothing of eating non foods (like cookies, etc) or drinking flammable liquids (alcohol) but freak out on greens :)

If you read their Supplement Facts panel, it does not state organic ingredients (required by the FDA). Thus the discrepency. It also contains kelp, which is brown. Perhaps the amount of kelp far exceeds the GREEN ingredients. As for other products, brown ingredients (with little chlorophyll) make for a brown color :)

You state that tonny robbins green drink is not organic on your comparison chart but on the label on the front it states 'made with organic ingredients'. I have had it in the past. It has wheatgrass, barley grass, alfafa, spinach and brocolli. These are all GREEN foods but the drink itself is BROWN. Do u know why many of the green drinks out there are brown?

A few things about this:
1. No probiotics - he suggests they turn into bad bacteria. I'd agree...if your colon is very toxic. We don't add probiotics.
2. No Prebiotics - I don't think he would ever say this, and if he does...it's silly.
3. No enzymes - He'd be silly to say this too. Enzymes are always beneficial. Alkazyme helps you because you're not a cow, and can't manufacture the enzymes to break down cellulose fibers (in all greens)
4. No spirulina - Have to disagree here bigtime.

Ive read the latest research by Dr Robert Young and he is saying no probiotics, no prebiotics, no enzymes, no spirulina. I do think he is the leading person in this field. I do take ur green drink but it does include alkazyme (enzymes), inulin(prebiotic), spirulina kelp(algae). What do u think of Dr Robert Youngs new research. Do u agree with it?

Glad to hear you're liking the taste. Stay in touch :)

That would be great because many people are still confused about it. I would love to see a video that would really be specific about it.

Today for the first time I have tried the pHion Green Drink and I have to say that it tastes more pleasant that the green drink from Dr Young I have been drinking fro quite some time. I still have to get used to the taste because it is a combination of green juice and green tea but it doesn't taste like grass so it is a big advantage:) I can let you know after few weeks about my results but for now I am very positive about this product.

While that product has a wide variety of ingredients, 28% of it is inexpensive lethicin and fiber, and only 15% of it is actually "greens".
I'm not sure what it costs because I can't find anybody selling it :(

I have tried almost every single greens product i can find, and time and time again the best one is Absolute Greens by Interactive Nutrition. After taking the product for a week or so I noticed a difference in my anergy level, my performance, AND the way i felt. I will take this product for as long as they make it! |
