Yes you're quite right about the habitat and we are lucky enough to have Little & Tawny Owls regularly in and around the garden, we do have a good supply of mice and voles here which obviously encourages them. I'm hoping to put up a Barn Owl nestbox soon.

Great Footage! I've been watching young barn owls near my home this evening. They are amazing birds. The grassland outside your fence looks ideal for barn owls, they like rough unmown/ungrazed tussocky grassland as this type of habitat can support large populations of voles and other prey animals. If you're in control of this land I'd encourage you to leave it as is for the benefit of the owls.

looks like a ghost when it flies, those birds are too cute to be killed or hurt, I would never hurt those type of birds

Owls shouldn't be kept as pets. The reason being their very hard to controls. |
